Have Been Painting
Did you know that it is still painting when using the medium of pastel? Since it is pure pigment with a bit of binder and the strokes of pastel mimic brush work you will hear the term painting, not drawing. With two galleries Blackhawk in Saratoga and Deselms Fine Art in Cheyenne I really must create the time to paint. Today I worked on three different pieces, inspired from my recent trip to Seattle to visit Kristin. I hope they will be ready to frame this week. So some that are framed....

The colors are so vivid and creatively combined!! I am really looking forward to seeing some of your paintings in person. Good for you for carving out that important time for your art.
