Almost Ready

The past two weeks have been filled with lists and notifications and packing ahead of the cruise as we have luggage shipping. We are shipping 3 suitcases and will travel with two carryon bags.  We took advantage of the perk, and one case is full of donations for the port in Banjul, The Gambia.  We have an excursion and will visit a school and meet families. We have various sport balls, clothing, pencils and will buy rice when we arrive in Fort Lauderdale.  

I set up a vacation email and Don paid bills ahead.  While we will have internet access on the ship it may be sporadic, not fast and expensive. We do have Wi-Fi so we can talk and text. Though with an eight-hour time difference communication will be sporadic.  No one wants a 2 AM phone call.

We have traveled to more than 100 countries, visited all 50 U S states more than four times and have visited every dot on the Wyoming state map. 

Yes, we do love to travel. 

Cruising is our favorite way to travel. Unpack just once, laundry, housekeeping and food all provided and traveling at night waking to a new port is most rewarding. Sea days are packed with lectures, art lessons, mahjong, trivia, shows and just relaxing.

  And the bonus is making friends from all over the world.  

Twenty-four days to departure.
