OH NO!

Terrie Lombardi - painting in progress
Vanda & Terrie
An artist has so many talents to become successful.  Composition, light, values, understanding materials, years of work painting and studying.  For everything it takes to be an artist Terrie Lombardi has been there.  She began the first steps over twenty-five years ago and is flourishing in her career.  She sells her paintings for thousands, teaches privately and also does workshops.  I was devastated when she called to tell me she had to postpone the workshop for the Cheyenne Artists Guild.  She fell, one of those crazy little accidents with big consequences.  She broke both wrists!  The healing has begun with casts and surgeries but it will be many weeks before she can paint again.  We all know she will paint as this work and others are not finished.  She is committed to be in several shows and we need her for our workshop!  I saw her yesterday in Denver where she is staying with her daughter Amanda.  Many friends were there and we had a few tears and lots of positive conservations about beginning again.  She shared a card from one of her students from many years ago.  She has just completed her BFA and attributes her path to Terrie and her love of art and teaching.  http://www.terrielombardi.com/  to see more of Terrie's art...
